  • This brave little man tried to protect me today. Bunny Boo the guard cat.

  • Long story short, there was no real threat but because my landlord apparently has the common sense God gave a radish, we both thought there was. Landlord strolled in unannounced for
  • an inspection despite me leaving a note on my door saying to make sure I was awake. I was awake still but didn't hear a thing. Had no idea anyone had come in.

  • And my brave dude was ready to fight for his home and human. Got his back up and growled and alerted me to the intruder. We're both
  • finally calming down a little and he's taking a well earned nap after a bonus can of wet food. He has always patrolled the house regularly for potential
  • threats, and is a the bravest little guy ever. Never until today did I know what he'd do if he found one. He's a guard cat.

  • chibicat 25 He is alot like my boy. I usually warn people not to just waltz into my home without knocking or calling
  • cause if they do then they will be sashaying to the local emergency room once my cat is done honing his claws on their face, legs and back.
  • NatrylliaAbbot42_OP He normally loves everyone, but then, no one else has come in without permission either. It was his first intruder experience.
  • My first too, tbh. People should have the sense to knock and respect boundaries!
  • PartCrazy As someone who frequently wanders around my house unclothed, I'd be LIVID at my landlord.
  • NatrylliaAbbot42_OP I was not fully clothed either, to add to the entire mess lol. Not noodie, but not wearing nearly enough clothes for the occasion. I
  • was having a hot flash and just wanted to flop down and cool off in front of the fan. I did so figuring I was safe because the note I put on my door said "make sure I'm awake"!!
  • Kitty But42 Awwwwww... brave kitty, stupid land lord. My cats. would probably just go up to any intruder and start begging for treats
  • NatrylliaAbbot42_OP He normally loves people! The difference must have been that I didn't let this one in, and hadn't acknowledged it and didn't know it was there. I live alone, so the only
  • people he meets are ones I let into the "territory" personally. Plus, it's a new landlord and neither of us had met him. So to him that meant it wasn't an approved/known human in our "territory."
